Freedom Fighters w/ Host Richard Andrew

FREEDOM FIGHTERS w/ Host Richard Andrew and guest
I AM A WARRIOR

having a disability.... ~ "pushed to the fringes of society" ~ I can relate! Growing up hearing from doctors and other professionals a lot about what I wasn't capable of doing. To finally pushing my way through college with not just one but TWO college degrees as a way of saying, "Yeah? Watch me!" (Having to pay for a few semesters on my own due to grades.... Even fighting my way to employment, and now getting to do something I have wanted to do since I was a little kid and that's to share my story with whomever would listen. (I've shared at my church a few times, and now at a few schools here in Montana (even tried writing my story in book form, but certain obstacles kept getting in the way) .
**********"The best of you is not behind you" WOW! Powerful (I think I felt Holy Spirit zap me with *that* one). I am struggling with this very thing right now with a few health set-backs as of late that have left me feeling discouraged.
"Waging war" for the kingdom (I always seem to come away from your shows excited for Sunday mornings. evenings. and/or Wednesday evenings when I teach the youth at my church.)
"I have not yet done enough" (with recent heath issues, I once asked God if He was done with me. Yeah, migraines are wicked, not to mention other issues) Like Paul says....."I press on"
"Leading sons and daughters closer to the Kingdom" I've been teaching in the church for quite a few years now, and *still* question God if He is *sure* he's got the right gal. Some days I feel more qualified than others.
Character, skillset, …...We are ALL warriors
Willingness to go ~ my mind says go! My pocketbook just laughs. In the meantime, I just make myself available to however HE chooses to use me. (Though I often think we have a difference of opinion.(99...eye roll)
short term missions trips..... Chi Alpha~ Transforming the University, the marketplace, and the world. involvement in Chi Alpha (a college ministry on the University of Montana campus.) I've been to Idaho on the ISU campus, Nevada on the strip and surrounding areas, Canada, Crow Indian reservation (and Blackfoot? I'm suddenly drawing a blank).
"You never know what kind of impact you'll have" ~ When we shared on one of the reservations in Canada, I hadn't planned on sharing my testimony but felt led at the last minute on the night other students shared. It was the night before we were supposed to leave.  We shared in a youth group and I wondered how my story could impact them. I was humbled, when, on our drive home (Ohmygoodness I am getting emotional trying to type now), my campus pastor and I shared moments from our trip. He shared with me that he had received a phone call from the youth pastor saying my story had not only impacted him, but was exactly what these youth needed to hear.
Miracle~ at some point we have to remember what our faith is, what we believe.  (James 1:22,
James 1:22 22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Even when we think we are at our most humble, we have not yet begun to humble ourselves yet."
Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up in due time. (a lot of feelings behind this verse, seeming to struggle with His timing)
Finding humility ~ washing another's feet

The more desperate you are for Him, the more you see Him

My greatest days are NOT behind me! They are in front of me!!!
